Ramadan Mubarak!

Make this Ramadan special with these beautiful duas.

Importance of Duas in Islam

Dua is the essence of worship and a weapon of the believer. Allah SWT commands the believers to humble themselves to their Lord in supplications. In the Noble Quran, Allah SWT says:

Translation: “And your Lord says, ‘Call upon Me; I will respond to you.’ Indeed, those who disdain My worship will enter Hell [rendered] contemptible.”
Reference: [Ghaafir 40:60]
Dua has a deep relevance to the month of Ramadan. According to the hadith of Prophet SAW, the dua of a fasting person is not rejected when made at the time of breaking the fast. Similarly, dua made at night before the appearance of dawn has more likelihood of being accepted. The nights of Ramadan carry great blessings, particularly the Night of Power. The last ten nights assume special significance because of holding the Night of Power amongst them. The believers seek the blessing of this night by engaging in worship and dua as supplications made on this night have high chances of being answered. In this glorious month when there is mercy in abundance, it is strongly encouraged to supplicate sincerely to Allah SWT using appropriate words. Allah SWT says in the Quran:
Translation: “When My servants ask you about Me, then (tell them that) I am near. I respond to the call of one when he prays to Me; so they should respond to Me, and have faith in Me, so that they may be on the right path.”
Reference: [al-Baqarah 2:186]

It is important to take guidance from the Quran and Sunnah in this regard. Continue reading to find out more about the essential Ramadan dua to be recited during the holy month.
